Prayer for Monday 7th April

Today, from our church family, we pray for Marcus and Antonia Davis.

We pray for the churches in our cluster.  We pray for St. Matthew’s Church as they continue to search for the right person for the position of Rector.  Thank you for Liz Chamberlain who is staying at St. Matthew’s while they continue their search for the right person to fill that post.  We pray for St. Luke’s and St. Paul’s as Nigel Taylor holds the fort while Mark Kinder is on Sabbatical.  We pray for St. John’s and especially for Gennie Evans as she continues to recover from serious illness.  We pray for St. Martin’s and for Simon, Phill, Penny and Margaret as they seek to fulfil your vision for our church. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Prayer for Tuesday 14 January 2014

Last month the Crossing at St Paul’s celebrated its 18th birthday. We give thanks for the mission of St Paul’s in the town centre, for Mark Kinder and his team, and the entire congregation. We ask for your blessing on all who come to the Crossing to visit the shops, restaurant, carers’ centre and other facilities, and for all who take the opportunity to use the chapel and worship space, whether for organized prayers and ‘Soul Space’ sessions, or for quiet reflection. May they feel your presence touching their lives, and be drawn to your church as a place of welcome and acceptance. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
