Today from our church family we pray for Yvonne Kent.
We pray for our local care homes, their residents and staff. Comfort and support all those who are lonely, confused or frightened, and those who no longer know who they or their loved ones are. We pray for the families of dementia sufferers, who have to mourn the loss of the person they loved while still coping with the complex needs of the sufferer. We pray for respite and community care teams, and for those responsible for making assessing patients’ care needs, that individuals and their families may get the help they need when they need it, and not be left in difficulties and danger. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
