Today from our church family we pray for Janet Duder.
In our Saturday prayers for Walsall, we remember the work of the churches and charitable organizations. We pray for the work of the Glebe Centre, Hi’s n Lows, The Vine Trust, Food Bank, Street Pastors, and all who care for vulnerable members of our community. We pray for the many people in Walsall who suffer poverty, homelessness, hunger, drug and alcohol addictions, physical and mental illness, loneliness and low self-esteem. We pray for those who fall through the cracks in the system, and are unable to get the help they need at the time they need it from social services and government organizations. We give thanks for the dedication of the staff and volunteers who do so much for our community, and ask that through such projects, your church may shine as a beacon of hope in a troubled world. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
